Meet Petoskey

Petoskey, named after a town in Michigan that was named for a fossil, is a little Tortoise who joined our family in November 2018. She and her three sisters, including Pepper, were dumped in a friends yard.

We estimate that she was born in September of 2018. She is quite the adventurer and very feisty. But she has taken over my lap while I'm working. When we first got her, she was the one to escape the confinement of their room while we waited for the ok from the vet to introduce them to the older cats. She was also the one to climb my legs every morning when I brought their breakfast and early morning attention.

She and her sister are getting quite vocal, and I'm hoping to catch her on video. She sounds like she is talking to us.
